About Me

Based in Minnesota, Liz Tischler is a visual artist currently pursuing a BS in Art Education. Her work is deeply rooted in a childhood spent in imagination and wandering the woods. Her mixed media and textile pieces act as a bridge between her early love for the whimsy of nature and her current studio practice. By layering recycled objects or natural elements, she creates maximalist compositions that capture the beautifully messy complexity of the forest floor as well as her mind.
